Byron Pederson is a busy man. As the co-founder of Instant Tax Solutions, he spends much of his time providing tax relief to taxpayers around the country. But Byron Pederson firmly believes in the importance of spending time with family, and taking time away from business. When taking personal vacations, he and his family head to the great outdoors. Recently, Oceans2003 staff spoke with Byron Pederson about his favorite camping destinations. He gave us some great ideas for inexpensive family vacations to unplug and unwind.
Oceans2003: “Byron Pederson, thanks for speaking to us today. You’ve enjoyed many of your area’s finest campgrounds. Tell us about a few you’d recommend.”
Byron Pederson: “Thanks for having me. Well, the campground you choose depends on your interests. Boaters, for instance, would probably like the beautiful waters of American Falls Reservoir.”
Oceans2003: “We have heard that Bayhorse Recreation Site is popular with fishermen.”
Byron Pederson: “Yes. It’s right on the Salmon River, making it ideal for fishing excursions. It also has beautiful scenery and other lakes for those who want to enjoy being on the lake without fishing.”
Oceans2003: “Are there any other areas in Idaho you’d recommend for families interested in inexpensive family camping vacations?”
Byron Pederson: “Clark Fork River offers great opportunities for camping in Northeastern Idaho. The views are breathtaking and the atmosphere provides a great chance for families to just relax and enjoy solid family time together.”
Oceans2003: “Byron Pederson, what about other campgrounds in your neck of the woods that offer great family bonding experiences?”
Byron Pederson: “Barbara Walters named Couer d’Alene one of the most fascinating places to visit. With its easy access to walking trails and waterways, there are several great campgrounds for families in the area.”
Oceans2003: “Byron Pederson, you live close to the Washington state line, as well. Any recommendations for those in the Washington area?”
Byron Pederson: “Spokane Valley has beautiful views, plus great history if you want to tour the area while you’re in town.”
Oceans2003: “One more question. How do you find time to camp with such a busy schedule?”
Byron Pederson: “Actually, by unplugging and spending a few days with my family, appreciating nature, I come back refreshed and able to be more efficient at work. We’re all permanently attached to our electronics, but you’ll find if you just unplug and relax for a few days, you rejuvenate not only your body, but your mind, as well. Plus, it’s important that we all schedule quality family time into our days, not only for ourselves but to let our kids breathe fresh air and camp out beneath the stars.”

It is good know that even on the busiest day for Bryon Pederson, he still has time to spent with his family – going camping. It is very important to take time to strengthen the bonds of family. Good to see there are men still out there like that!
