After Philip Melugin graduated from Kansas’s Wichita State University with a master’s in education, he accepted a position at Conservco/Intracor as a vocational counselor, helping those who had suffered work-related injuries.
When his career took him to Missouri in the intervening years, Philip Melugin always had a special love for the state where he began his career. These attendants can help clients with a wide variety of personal services, including transportation, housekeeping, meal preparation, and more. Clients must prove eligibility in order to be accepted.

As Philip Melugin describes, this type of assistance focuses on children who have disabilities and special health needs. A private duty nurse can help with administering medication, drawing blood, providing IV therapy, and much more. Some clients simply need a private duty nurse to come into the home to provide a couple of hours of relief to the parents of children with special needs.
